Welcome to the Pilot Study!

Through this pilot study, faculty members will be sharing and critiquing with each other various inquiry-based learning methods in order to either restructure a current course or design a new course incorporating primarily inquiry-based learning strategies.

These courses will be piloted during the Spring 2011 semester and reviewed the following a predetermined assessment protocol. The goal of this pilot study and assessment is to provide adequate information to finalize a clear, precise Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) for submission to the SACS Visitation Team during the Fall 2011 semester.

In addition, following a successful pilot project, each participating faculty member will then be equipped to serve as a team leader for the formal IBL implementation called for in Lenoir-Rhyne's official QEP.
